About Danny
I'm Danny. I graduated with honors with a degree in history and business management from the University of Miami. I'm well-versed in all subjects K-8 (even Spanish!), and specialize in writing, history, political science, remedial Spanish, and test prep for high school level students. I focus on making material relevant and engaging, which helps students genuinely understand the course material and, more importantly, learn how to think critically.
My background includes private tutoring of children of all ages, teaching children and adults at language schools abroad, and private tutoring of college students.

My method of tutoring is to take a collaborative approach. I do not believe in lecturing in a one-on-one or small group setting, as students learn better when the lesson is interactive and relatable.
I believe in knowing the lesson from front to back and walking through the material alongside the student. The goal is a full understanding of the subject matter and to foster the ability of the student to learn and think critically on their own.
I tutor all subjects K-8 and specialize in writing (ACT/SAT included), history, social science, political science, and test preparation for high school students. I pride myself in helping organize a coherent and simple plan of attack for learners when approaching an examination.
