My experiences of living abroad inform the way I think about language learning and teaching, and the importance of an immersive conversational experience, which I offer in my lessons.
I enjoy the first meeting with students; it's an opportunity to get to know each other, and begin to tailor lessons to individuals’ interests, learning style and ability. Due to the current circumstances, all lessons will be conducted online, for the time-being :)
I am an experienced TEFL accredited English language tutor teaching 1 to 1 classes across London.
I teach a range of students from varying backgrounds and levels of experience, from beginner lessons for adults and children to advanced Business English for busy professionals.
I speak Chinese, French and German.
I have extensive experience teaching English as a Foreign Language in the UK and abroad.
I've been teaching English for 3 years. I began teaching English when I moved to China for a year in 2016. I have taught toddlers, children, young adults and adults alike, in classroom environments, online as well as on private one-to-one bases.
Why did I go to China? Well, I`m a language learner too! I have a degree in French and German from the University of Nottingham; I decided to pursue a new challenge, and went to China to learn Mandarin Chinese.
What does this mean?
Well, I understand the steps, challenges and successes you face in your journey to English proficiency and I want to help you on your way, whatever stage you are at!
How can I help you?
I am passionate about communication, language teaching and learning, and foreign culture. I wish to help anybody, from child to adult, who is enthusiastic about improving their spoken or written English, in a friendly and informal setting.
If you wish to book a block of 10 hours of lessons, I offer the tenth lesson free :)

With my knowledge of Chinese social media including WeChat and Weibo, and as part of the InnoMedia arm of the enterprise, I assisted clients wishing to engage with the China market with Weibo account verification to localise their business strategy.
Coordination and organisation of large groups of Chinese school students of differing personalities and educational needs for the successful running of their intensive UK school integration programme provided by China-UK Gateway.
