My teaching method varies for subjects as well as students, for science, generally, I divide the syllabus into sections and create a timetable ensuring that each section is taught well before the exam to allow the student to endure sufficient exam practice with past papers. Indeed it is evident that if you don’t go over each section the student will forget it, and it won’t be built into long term memory, thus I generally spend the first 10/15 minutes of the session going over previous sections to ensure all sections gets incorporated in the students long term memory. This is my methodology for teaching science, of course I have different methods of teaching other subjects in which my methodologies are the most effective for each subject and for each students learning style and ability.
I am a grammar school student, currently in year 12, and have been working as a maths tutor for the company Kumon for the past 2 years. I have also tutored my cousins, helping them getting into top grammar schools, and providing a strong foundation of education to ensure success in GCSE and A levels exams.
