My approach is to identify the strengths and weaknesses of the learner, and develop the required skills accordingly. Starting with securing a strong basis, we then move on to tackle the different topics and aspects the learner will be tested on. At the next stage the learner will practice mock exams to demonstrate established skills, as well as train to work in exam conditions.
Each topic is taught using relevant examples, useful "tricks" and "tools" (the tool-box analogy), and engaging activities that may be adjusted responding to learning style and personal needs.
Years of experience in teaching in secondary schools, further education and university. Proven track record in getting learners successfully through their qualification, with emphasis both on acquiring deep knowledge and broad skills of the subject and on obtaining the qualification/certification.
Every learner will receive personal attention and a tailored individual-learning-plan (ILP) to accommodate their particular abilities and needs.
Travel fee: while travel is generally included in the price, a visit to places that take longer to get to, or where parking is problematic, might result in a higher fee - to cover for lost time and parking costs.
