Initially, I have an assessment with the student evaluating their needs and what learning techniques would be the most beneficial. I like to approach each subject, topic at a time until fully understood. Revisiting past topics also helps to constantly keep up to date and refresh memories. Having been tutored myself and having worked with kids for a long time, I aim to make my lessons fun and refreshing.
Currently working in the fashion industry, I am looking to utilise my skills as a tutor in my free time. I am an experienced tutor having tutored a variety of ages from 5-18 for over 9 years. I have helped children pass 11+, 13+ and 16+ exams. My love of teaching has taken me to both Tanzania and Cambodia, where I have spent months teaching English to all different ages and skill levels. Working weekly at my local Primary schools, I have taught creative and academic classes to years 1-3.

Sales Administrative Assistant
August 2017 – Present
Stuart Peters Ltd is a UK based supplier, delivering fashionable, design driven knitwear, jerseywear, sleepwear and outerwear to blue chip UK high street customers; such as Marks and Spencers and Tesco’s F & F.
Utilising my administrative skills, I am responsible for overseeing sales operations, processing a high volume of product orders and driving the admin to support sales. I am constantly developing and introducing improved customer acquisition and response strategies, leading to sustained business and revenue growth. Developing spreadsheets, I am fully literate in the Microsoft Office Suite.
After just six months of assisting the team, I was promoted and given further responsibilities and my own accounts to manage. I now work directly with customers and factories, primarily negotiating prices, attending design meetings and maintaining critical paths. Through my activities as a sales assistant, I have developed an astute commercial awareness and a strong financial foundation upon which I hope to build. Managing customers independently demonstrates my reliability and responsibility; further highlighting my value to Stuart Peters.
