Methodology

James' Guitar, Bass and Piano lessons are tailored completely to the individuals' ability, learning style and educational needs which will be established in the first lesson, along with a lesson plan. Any student is welcome, from beginners to proficient players.

Lessons are taught in a simple, practical and easy to understand manner, and will allow the individual to begin playing and immediately. His teaching style is casual, using common knowledge and school level skills to demonstrate how to play, as opposed to traditional – classical methods.

Universally used, simple to understand guitar tab and chord charts will be taught and used to teach throughout his lessons

James is happy to offer lessons based around reading music and notation up to a semi–proficient level, sharing all the key methods to give you all you need to know to read music.
