I love a takeaway but I do not enjoy the sluggish heavy feeling I get, I wondered if I could make the takeaway at home (fakeaways) it turns out its cheaper and healthier! So I did it and I have never looked back (when I do, I always regret it!) I teach in a relaxed conversational way. Showing you, watching you with guidance and then allowing you to have a solo go. You get the gist. I do not have any formal qualifications but I don't need them to teach you how to make some damn good, home cooked food. My classes are about preparing home cooked meals like those that would traditionally be taught by mothers or grandmothers, (but seems to be happening less nowadays) than creating a 'chef experience' the classes would be less of a demonstration and more about cooking together.
I am the reason my network of friends can cook. I genuinely want to share my knowledge and secrets with you, plus I need some extra money flavor is the stuff that makes your heart sing and it's easier than you think! I love Asian, west Indian, american and English cooking, I bake. I also have a personal interest in the science of cooking and would be willing to share my knowledge so far.
Laura is a good friend of mine who cooks for our friends and I regularly. The food is always spectacularly delicious and we are always in awe of her abilities! She practices recipes religiously to get them perfect, so you won't regret getting some lessons from her - you'll learn way more than just a few things!!
