I am a highly motivated and conscientious individual with an exceptionally strong work ethic. My students are not only able but encouraged to contact me outside of their lesson hours as I give everything I can to each of my students.
Every single lesson is bespoke to the student (or group of students) that I am teaching. I believe passionately that every person is an individual, and conforming to a mainstream school is not necessarily the best path for each student. I am highly empathetic, and very emotionally intelligent, this enables me to quickly and efficiently assess the best way forward for each individual - regardless of their desired goal.
During my PGCE, I learned and practiced a wide variety of the most-up-to-date pedagogical techniques and I stay up-to-date through my continued professional development and connections with a variety of mainstream and special schools.
I'm a First Class Honours Fashion Design graduate and double award winner at Graduate Fashion Week London. Subsequent to my undergraduate degree, I studied a PGCE in Secondary Education. I have experience working in a variety of large comprehensive UK primary and secondary schools and therefore have experience teaching across Key Stage Two - Four. Additionally, I have experience working with Level Four (first year undergraduate degree) students.
Finally, I have experience working with a number of pupils with individual needs. I have worked with school refusers, pupils with SEND (including ASD/ASC, PDA, ODD, Dyslexia, Dyspraxia, ADHD, ADD etc.), pupils with emotional or behavioural difficulties, and pupils with social, emotional, and mental health needs.
