I teach Maths, Chemistry, Biology and Physics up to GCSE level.

I have studied Chemistry, Biology, Physics and Maths up to GCSE; Biology, Chemistry and Maths A Level; BSc Genetics at Cardiff University and a PhD in Molecular Biology/Population Genetics at Liverpool University. I worked as a Research Associate at Manchester University at the Wellcome Trust Centre for Cell Matrix Research for 5 years.
- How much do you charge?
My rates are £25 per hour for pupils. I do consider group discount rates.
- Where do you teach?
I teach extra lessons at my home in Conwy. I currently tutor pupils from all over the county of Conwy.
- When are you available?
I am available after school from 3pm - 8pm and during school hours for home schooled children.

- What kind of experience do you have?
I have worked at a local comprehensive secondary school in the Science and SENCO departments. I began home tutoring whilst studying for my PhD at Liverpool University in 1997 and I have subsequently tutored extensively for the past 12 years. My goal as a tutor is to see pupils gain confidence in both themselves and their subject.

- Tell me about some of your current students.
Home schooled pupil achieved an IGCSE physics grade A, Additional science grade A*, core science grade A in August 2011.
Year 11 pupil whom I tutored for 1 hour a week for the academic year boosted science and maths grades to A* in physics and A in biology, maths and chemistry.
Year 10 pupil who was really struggling managed to hike up her grades in both Maths and science to achieve grade c in the core science exam in summer 2010 and also achieve a grade c in maths whilst still in year 10.
