Fed up of feeling stressed? Psychology graduate (BPS membership) , level 1 practitioner in CBT, and half a masters in mental health nursing & many other related courses

About the lesson

Once I have created an environment that you feel safe in, I will begin to analyse your current life situations and adjust your perspective and way of life in to breeding a positive thought process. This will mainly be achieved through CBT techniques such as: Structured Time Management in CBT, Socratic / Guided Discovery in CBT, CBT formulations (5 factor, ABC etc), Identifying key cognitions , Cognitive change methods, Behavioural techniques, Homework in CBT Downward Arrow Technique, Graded Hierarchy/Task Assignments Daily Thought Record, Responsibility Pie Charts, CBT Relapse Prevention Strategies Validated measures eg. BDI etc.

I appreciate this looks extremely daunting, but trust me when I say I will make our sessions fun!! Please don’t hesitate to call or email if you have any questions

I am a psychology graduate, I have also completed numerous other corses relating to mental health and positive psychology. I am half way through completely a masters in mental health nursing. However I have put that oh hold for the time being.
My main focus is on Cognitive Behavioural Therapy. This form of therapy helps you to take control of factors in your life you thought were out of your control. There is emphasis on acceptance too. I am highly empathetic, and have worked in many areas of mental health providing psychological treatments for over 3 years. I am kind, enthusiastic and patient. Look forward to hearing from you x
