In my lessons, we firstly watch a video on a topic within a subject, whilst watching the video I ask my students to take notes engaging them in learning. I then go over, correct, and add to the notes they have made. We will then go through the written content on the topic and finally, we will answer questions on the topic. This methodology is based on engagement, understanding and repetition, which I believe are the three pillars to learning and understanding.
I am a Final year Biomedical science student and I have applied the learning techniques I teach to reach where I am now. I have taught many students on online platforms in Dubai, South Africa, and the UK over the past two years. I use my past schooling experience to give a tailored tutoring experience for each student as I learn how they learn as individuals. I achieved A's in Biology, Maths, Chemistry, and Physics for A levels, as well as Economics and English, and I will impart the learning techniques from those years and my years at university to help you achieve the results you want.

I have been tutoring students at GCSE level to prepare them for their exams. This process has made me reflect on my own learning methods and I have become much more grateful for the time and work my teachers put in towards my education as I now experience all the preparation required for a successful lesson.

Ethan helped me greatly improve my GSCE chemistry mark. He always made the lesson environment very relaxed and this helped me focus on my learning. The way he tailored the learning to my visual needs by using videos and diagrams was the defining factor in his technique of teaching.
Ethan has been an amazing tutor for my son. His extensive knowledge , backed up with his calm collective approach has been a breath of fresh air and given my son the confidence and understanding that he required . On top of this he is also a very prompt and polite young man. He has been able to assist my son with Biology , Chemistry and Mathematics. I would definitely recommend him as a tutor.
I just wanted to let you know how wonderful Ethan was during a stressful period of my life leading up to my GCSE's. He really helped me understand where i was going wrong in my biology papers and spent lots of time giving me examples and sending me short videos on different parts of the course work that I was finding difficult to remember. I felt he was very patient and kind which is what i needed.
Ethan also coached me a short while with some Math questions i was having difficulty with. We went over some past papers slowly and anything i was confused about - he spent time explaining and giving me examples. I really feel he helped me to get good grades in both subjects.
Ethan helped me increase my mark drastically for my final GCSE exam in Biology. I noticed that the repetition he used was specifically helpful to me and it’s something I now incorporate into my learning. Ethan always made sure I understood the topics as we went through them and even if I thought I understood the exams he made for me always exposed what I didn’t understand, so we could focus on those areas.
