My main method of teaching is with constant practise of exam-style questions.
I have a catalogue of questions and answers that are closely related to each curriculum. I used some of these during my own exams, in which I scored A* in every exam. I also create my own worksheets for the candidates to ensure every topic is covered before they sit the test.
Usually I begin the classes with a background introduction on relevant theorems, and then show the student in-depth methods on how to apply these theorems to the problem at hand. From here I will analyse their strengths and weaknesses and set them tasks based on this analysis.
The rest of the lectures will be based on improving the students confidence and answering any questions they have to ensure they are well prepared.
I'm a final year mathematician at one of the best university's in the world who has tutored mathematics and physics, 11+, iGCSE, GCSE and A-level for 5 years now.
At GCSE I scored 100% in every maths test, at A-Level I gained A*A*A in maths, further maths and physics.
I have previously tutored a client at grade C in GCSE mathematics who after 3 months (16 hours of lessons) later, obtained an A grade.
