I aim to provide an informal comfortable environment for students to learn, with students feeling comfortable enough to ask myself any questions necessary to help to advance their understanding of social sciences.
I try to make lessons fun for all students, making learning exciting again for many who have lost that spark for engaging in education.
Flexibility is key and I am more than welcome to look at alternate ways of teaching depending on the student - I believe tutor and student relationships should be a two-way relationship and am very open to adjusting teaching style to meet the needs of students!
I love using my degree and knowledge to help others to advance their skills in the social sciences, if you have any questions please do not hesitate to contact me - happy learning! :D
I am current MSc Social Science student at Cardiff University, recently graduating with a first class honours in BSc Sociology with Criminology and Criminal Justice from the University of South Wales.
I have previously tutored students with low reading ages that struggle with literacy skills, with a proven track record of helping to improve reading ages.
Recently took part in a prestigious summer internship programme with the Civil Service. Of over 10,000 applicants I was selected as part of a cohort of 400 interns. I was able to work in a policy focused role, giving myself an increased awareness of the workplace applicability of social sciences and in particular public policy.
Cancellation within 24 hours.

Perfect! I was really nervous going into tutoring with Siana, having taken criminology modules in my law degree. I didn't need to have worried, she made me so at ease and has helped me in adapting my writing skills not only for criminology, but for my degree as well. She kept me on task every week, and no question was ever too much. I enjoyed our lessons so much that I decided to take more criminological modules next semester and will be using her again.
Such a lovely student, I look forward to our sessions every week, she takes on all feedback and I am able to recognise improvements in her work with each lesson we have had :)
