Worked independently whilst conducting telephone interviews with individuals requiring employment advice. Retrieved detailed information about the client and their situation by actively listening and recording responses concisely as to assist the volunteer lawyer in providing accurate advice. Developed my legal and commercial understanding of topics such as workplace discrimination, unfair dismissal and processing an employment tribunal claim. Ensured individuals remained calm throughout their initial interview and reassured individuals who became distressed from recounting specific events.

Reviewed Access to Justice Foundation grant applications from nationwide law clinics by assessing their finances, business plans and reasons for requiring a grant. Produced constructive feedback for applicants who were unsuccessful in their grant application. Designed promotional material that was marketed across social media for the Sharing Solutions Conference attended by over 100 advice sector employees.
