When it comes to tutoring, I want to be as engaging as I can so that students get the best experience. I am a person who believes that Maths is fun and even though, it may seem boring at first, once you start applying Maths to the real world, the subject itself makes sense. I want to show them that world and once the student starts enjoying the subject, then achieving the grades becomes second nature.
My fundamental teaching methodology is having a great relationship with the students and understanding them. I believe that if I have a great relationship with the students, the tutoring itself becomes natural and easy for both of us. I am very adaptable and flexible when it comes to how to teach students. From experience, each student has their own preferred style of learning. When I tutor, I listen to the tutee and adapt to how they want to be taught. This makes it more fun and engaging for the tutees.
I am a graduate who studied MComp (Hons) Computer Science and Mathematics at the University of Bath. Furthermore, I studied A-Level Mathematics (A*) and also achieved A* in GCSE Maths and Additional Maths, informing my extensive knowledge and passion for the subject. I have been doing one-to-one tutoring for the past 2 years for my close families and friends, which I thoroughly enjoyed and helped students to achieve their expected grades. I would like to continue teaching and helping other students by sharing my knowledge and skills in Mathematics.
