I am offering my tutoring services to help struggling students who are studying Chemistry and Forensic Science. I aim to support students who require aid in certain areas of Chemistry and Forensic Science. I am able to assist students studying GCSE's and A levels or who are beginning a foundation degree in Forensic Science. I will discuss the students needs and develop an approach that is appropriate for the student.
I am a Forensic Science undergraduate and I am currently studying in my final year of university. I specialise in Chemistry and I have a deep understanding of the Forensic process and application of science to the real world. I have work experience in tutoring students with learning difficulties, such as dyslexia. Also, I have an English qualification and I am able to help students with their writing and grammar, if necessary. Furthermore, I am able to apply Maths in a scientific context and I am able to use computing software, such as excel, to calculate complex equations.
In 2016, I voluntarily took part in the National Citizen Service, which included many skills building and developing activities over a 5-week period. It also included organising and carrying out a voluntary community service project, in which my team and I built a sensory garden for people suffering with Downs Syndrome, while working with the charity Teamwork. We fundraised to pay for tools and materials used to construct the garden and worked for 2 weeks to build it at Teamwork. In addition, I was a Scout for 11 years and some of the skills I learnt during this time include leadership, teamwork, basic cooking, basic first aid (not certificated) and some survival skills. Furthermore, I am computer literate and I achieved good GCSE results, especially in Maths and English, due to my dedication and hard work to my studies.
