About the lesson
I have always adopted a friendly attitude with my students (no matter the age), always trying to keep them interested and active. In fact, I believe in tutoring because it is a way to learn differently than in school for instance, and to take the time to understand and succeed in whatever was challenging us. For example, in a conversation class the object of the lesson would be a Gainsbourg song. First of all, the student and the teacher would read it, being careful of the pronunciation. Then, make the student resume what he understood of the song, in French. And after, maybe translate the document, little by little, doing short recaps of some grammar rule (and then talk about it more in-depth at the next lesson), and pointing at him all the "french expression", maybe their history, so he can actively learn about them. Finally, both student and teacher will talk about the song it itself, trying to underline its political or poetical content.

I have done a lot of tutoring these last past years, in Paris and London.
I teach every level and every age, and adapt myself to the personality of the student. I have also been tutoring not only for school but extra-scholars subjects such as music (music theory and instrument). Since I am franco-italian and speak both languages as my mother language, I feel completely comfortable teaching in English, in French or Italian. Indeed, I regularly give French and Italian lessons to Beginners, Intermediate and Advanced.
Not only is Sabrina a very dedicated and well organized person, she is also passionate in everything she does, making her a great teacher, comrade and friend.
I have always been impressed with her capacity of being animated by what she explains, giving it all the sense it needs and making it easy to understand. She knows how to share knowledge in a way that's interesting and funny, and she does that while always being nice and easy-going. Her pedagogy, in my opinion, is driven by a great sense of empathy. Thus, she always takes into account the way the student feels during her lessons, so that he/she won't ever find himself/herself being lost.
Sabrina is a hard-working, dedicated and, perhaps most importantly, passionate violinist. Moreover, she is a resourceful teacher who knows how to help and encourage her students while delivering highly enjoyable lessons. In the many years I have spent studying with her, I have always been in awe of her energy, positivity and excellent social skills.
