I aim to teach up to A-level students in a practical way, giving them the knowledge necessary to communicate with native speakers via an appropriate and up-to-date approach to vocabulary learning and topics. I am a calm, encouraging and patient tutor.
I am a student of French and German at the University of Warwick in the UK. I have taught languages to children of 9 years upwards with experience in schools, teaching entire classes. I have spent time living abroad, including 10 months in Germany and a year in France, to give practical, modern and cultural knowledge of the countries.

I spent 6 weeks caring for an 8-year-old boy in Vorarlberg, Austria. Other tasks included cleaning and shopping for, preparing and cooking meals for the family of four. From this experience, I learned to adapt quickly in a foreign environment.

Cleaning and assuring smooth running of kitchen during busy mealtimes. Interacted with residents and provided support and comfort to a large number of dementia patients and their families, providing experience in dealing with a range of age groups.

Working with students aged 9 – 13 in the Modern Languages department. Roles included running class activities and games, working one to one with a range of students including those with special educational needs and organising materials and worksheets in time for classes.
