I can give lessons in French and English up to university level as I am fluent in both languages academically and orally.
The best way to learn a language is to first speak with a native speaker which is why people always say "move to the country if you wish to learn the language." I can offer conversational tutorial and chat where I will mark the mistakes of the student but only share them at the end or the important ones as we go not to disturb the conversation.
Speaking a language is about confidence therefore it's important to speak about interesting subjects and to just go for it despite the difficulties.
I went to university in both France and England so I learnt the classical way of writing and the right academic style one needs that I can also teach in French and English.
It' also up to the student to tell me how she or he likes to learn, what works and doesn't work and what are the particular topics or subjects the student wishes to focus on.
Most of all, learning a language should be fun so we would never spend too much time on grammar or boring exercises; it would be an exciting trial and error process.
My name is Camille and I lived in Sydney, London, south of France and Tokyo. I have always loved discovering new cultures and speaking with new people from different backgrounds and lifestyles. There is nothing more enriching and thrilling to learn how to appreciate a foreign culture as it helps you appreciate more your own when you go home.
I have studied at University for 7 years as well so my background is quite academic but I do have a passion for acting, writing and photography.
I am happy to negotiate tariffs if the student is regular or has special needs.
