Background

- What kind of experience do you have?

I have given Brass Workshops to Primary Schools in Bristol and South Gloucestershire, in some cases influencing the Head Teacher to take on a brass teacher at the schools.

I understand different learning styles, such as aural learners that need to hear how something should sound, and kinaesthetic learners that need to feel their way around the instruments to build up muscle memory. These are important skills for horn playing.

- Do you have an up-to-date DBS (Disclosure & Barring Service, formerly CRB) Certificate?

This is not a legal requirement for tutoring, but I can arrange to get one on request.

- Where and with whom did you train?
