As a matter of introduction I am Ashley-Philomène, a professional multi-media artist and graduate from Central Saint Martins and Sorbonne. My skills include traditional studio media, such as drawing, painting, sculpture and graphics as well as technical media including photography, film and animation.
My lessons or ‘creative mentoring’ will be a fun and dynamic dialogue between the student and myself, whereby developing artistic skills the student will have a chance to find their own personal expression.
The opportunity of private art courses, depending on the student's personality, will also serve to empower them, generate original ideas and help them to gain confidence; all within a cultural context. A series of drawing exercises, will lead to painting and graphic skills in different formats utilizing a variety of techniques. This in turn will lead to the pursuit and finalization of their own dream-like final project.
As a tutor I help the student to consider an integrative approach that encompases philosophy, history and contemporary art practice.
As a ‘creative Tutor’ I am willing to propose a more ambitious collaboration with the student, depending on the student and the goals of the family. This ultimate team-work would also provide the benefit of making content for an unique Art Portfolio. My program can be designed and adjusted for a range of age groups, with sensitivity towards the existing level of the student.
It is about providing guidance and encouraging their creativity by the realization of innovative and experimental lessons.
