I am a french teacher, native speaker.I hold the QTS , DBS , naric assessment .
Since I am living in Cambridge I was tutoring and working as a supply teacher in different schools and colleges.I was teaching to different levels and as a tutor i got my proper tools and technics.each tutee is different , so I adapt my lesson according the level , the personality and the needs of my students.
usually I started by some grammar , and very quickly i try to dive my students to converse and write.
I ask with them also home work , to keep what we did on the last lesson.
I noticed is good to know what they expect from you, and respect their difference, and the way they would like to learn.to teach and to learn must be a pleasure and not a pain!
I was teaching in France as a tutor or teacher for 25 years.During many years I was teaching to english children to prepare them to integrate the french education at different levels.

Catherine is a native french speaker who is outgoing and considerate. She has a great deal of experience studying and teaching french.
As a result of the link with Catherine's husband's business, we then engaged her as a French-English tutor for my eldest daughter who was studying Law & French Law, which requires a high degree of fluency and grammar.
Catherine was exemplary.
Catherine was throughout professional, and available at the agreed time and day, on an ongoing basis.
She had the experience and knowledge, gained over 25 years of teaching; and the ability to adapt her teaching methods to my particular linguistic needs.
From the level of a complete beginner, in an academic year, I was able to reach the level A1/A2.
I particularly welcomed her creative methods, and her offering language lessons combined with the relevant local information. Without going to Britany, France, I was able to gain a sense of life there with its diverse dynamics; which encouraged my learning.
I highly recommend Catherine as a second language teacher. I took 3 months of French lessons with her and found her to be reliable, kind, and genuinely interested in my progress. She is very organised and always had plans ready for each lesson. She is an excellent teacher for anyone who wants to learn French as a second language.
