About Clara
I completed a PhD in French Language and Communication Studies after years of studying international communication, linguistics, and language education during my academic journey. Over the past 9 years, I have worked with students from different backgrounds and skill levels, helping them improve their French through practical instruction and supportive teaching methods. Teaching French allows me to combine communication, cultural understanding, and mentorship in a deeply rewarding way. I enjoy helping learners express themselves confidently in another language.
My teaching style focuses on adaptability, patience, and communication-centered learning. Some students improve best through grammar-focused practice and structured repetition, while others respond more naturally to speaking activities and interactive discussions. I adapt each lesson according to the learner’s confidence level, learning style, and personal goals. Along with technical language development, I help students improve pronunciation, listening comprehension, vocabulary retention, and conversational fluency. Building a positive and encouraging learning atmosphere is always one of my highest priorities.
Outside teaching, I enjoy reading French literature, exploring world cinema, and studying language usage across different cultures and communities. These interests help me bring fresh ideas and practical examples into lessons regularly. I believe language learning creates opportunities for confidence, global connection, and personal growth. One of the most rewarding parts of teaching is watching students communicate naturally in situations that once felt challenging or unfamiliar.
