My lessons are targeted at the needs and ability level of the student. I first have a consultation with the student and parent to establish their needs. Each lesson, I ask the student what they want to learn to today, and what s/he has been studying at school. I provide examples and ask the student to attempt a few questions by him/herself. At the end of the lesson, I check that the student has understood the learning objectives, and then set (optional) homework to consolidate on the learning that has taken place during the lesson. The following lesson, I check the homework and go over any misconceptions or errors in the homework. I provide a flexible service that meets the hectic schedule of the student and parents.
