I try and engage with my students so the lessons seem less like work and more like fun (of course reaching our targets by the end!). I try to depict the topics into real life scenarios to make the theory more understandable. This is done by visual aids, videos and even stories.
I start my lessons going through what my students struggled with throughout their schooling week and then focus on why they were confused to try and level it out. After explanations and examples, the student will briefly explain the topic back to me and then attempt questions. Afterwards we will go through the questions and through their thought processes to see where they may have gone right/wrong.
I note my students work and review their progress regularly, finding their advantages/disadvantages and working from this.
I am a 3rd medical pharmacology student averaging 75% who has previously tutored GCSE/A-level maths students for a year. I am flexible in my students work and timetables to suit their needs. I specialise in Biology, Chemistry, Physics and Maths depending on what is required .
Perfect! Robyn is amazing she has a way with tutoring that makes it stress free yet knowledgeable. She has helped my daughter set up a planner. She explains it so that my daughter understands. I honestly can't recommend Robyn enough she is absolutely perfect.
Cerys (Lianne's daughter) is a very smart girl with a strong mindset. She can easily pick up her workload and achieve the grades she wants to! We have organised a timetable with Cerys and hope to see improvement over the next upcoming weeks
