I have a very practical and dynamic approach to teaching, preferring to use extreme examples to help the student remember certain techniques and equations. Students will always receive a recap exercise relating to their last lesson, which will highlight any weaknesses.
I am an A Level student studying maths, further maths and physics and have aided GCSE students to reach their target grade in maths at GCSE. I taught up to 3 students at a time, making the tuition more personalised to each student
Cancellations will still be required to pay for the lesson.

Royal Air Force Air Cadets:
Throughout my time in the Royal Air Force Air Cadets (RAFAC) at 422 (Corby) Squadron, I have achieved beyond what I thought I was capable of, through being promoted to Cadet Corporal and obtaining a gliding Scholarship through The Honourable Company of Air Pilots. Additionally, I have been trained in First Aid. Being a member of RAFAC has not only built my confidence, but has given me exciting new opportunities, examples being representing both the squadron and the East Midlands in Hockey and the squadron in Cross Country. I have taken on board leadership roles which have allowed me to build my confidence further. Being a member of the RAFAC allows me to extend my knowledge in aerospace and how powered aircraft work, which will help aid me in achieving a career in Aerospace Engineering. Being a part of 422 Corby Squadron allows me to put my name forward for many volunteering roles, which have also increased my confidence and have allowed me to freely interact with members of the public.
Proficiency Coaching Award (Trampolining):
My coaching qualification resulted from my experience as a trampoline gymnast, for 10 years, only recently quitting due to ongoing injuries. The coaching qualification allows me to work freely with children, whilst helping them achieve proficiency awards within the Trampling Gymnastics Award Scheme. I was given the responsibility of coaching new club members, including those with learning disabilities, allowing me to step out of my comfort zone whilst teaching something I loved. Being a coach means that one must be able to communicate efficiently and courteously with parents, sometime in stressful situations, while maintain a professional manner. As a gymnast, I achieved Regional champion in 2010 in my category through dedicated training and focus.
My role as a student tutor is to help those sitting GCSE’s obtain their target grade in Mathematics, whilst increasing their confidence in their answers, which, ultimately, is the most important part of an exam.
