What I found that worked for me as well as student during mentoring them was to focus on their weaker points, whilst continuing to work on the stronger points. This just ensured that they did not forget what they already knew. I prefer to work interactively to engage students, so they are actively listening as well as understanding. However, whatever method I think will suit my student, I am willing to do that.
I am currently awaiting my offer to study Law at University, however with my passion for English, I can teach younger teenagers to maximise their potential in this subject. I was a mentor for English during Secondary school, and managed to achieve a grade 7, which is equivalent to an A. Further, I studied English Literature for my A Levels.
