My sessions are most appropriate for primary school level all the way to those in their second year at college. Mostly my lessons are based around going through exam questions in order to build skills and discover areas in need of improvement, however I believe that incorporating enjoyable activities that also build skills and encourage an interest in the subject is also important. My lessons are extremely flexible, so they are often characterised by the student's own needs and desires. I am patient with students and believe providing resources is important and do my very best to provide as much as I can.
I have recently finished my A Levels at Peter Symonds College and am now embarking on a gap year before I go on to study English and Philosophy at Durham University. Since November 2018 I have been tutoring at primary school level in English Language and Literature and have been told by parents that my sessions have been really enjoyable and I have witnessed great improvements. I believe that my very recent experience in A Level questions and exams and achieving highly in the new GCSE course will be extremely useful and relevant to anyone taking English Literature at A Level or studying English at GCSE.
Rates increase with the distance I am required to travel by £0.50 a mile.
