When considering myself as a tutor, I pride myself on being , patient, creative and thorough - which I believe to be key attributes to any teacher as we come into contact with children of varying academic abilities. I love the challenge of teaching and have developed the ability to draw out the best in my students. I focus on understanding of 'why' in Maths, methodology and equipping students with the tools they need to be better learners in class.
I have taught Maths for just over 5 years now to secondary school students (ages 11-19), therefore extending to GCSE and A-Level.I have a wide range of teaching experience varying from teaching students in "gifted and talented" groups, children who are new to English and children of varying SEN needs (with some falling into all three groups).
