Whether you are in primary school and looking for support, or aiming to secure grade 5 GCSE, or working towards getting the A Level grades you need for your university place, I can help you with your Maths.
You might know exactly which topics you want to improve on. That would be great and in that case we could get straight to work.
On the other hand, you might need help with identifying and filling in any gaps in your knowledge. That's no problem and I can help with that too.
Generally, we would do a recap of last lesson and feedback on any homework. Then move on to new learning with enough explanation, examples and practice for you to master the topic. Lastly, we would finish off with some past paper questions to get you familiar with problem solving.
I have been teaching Mathematics since 1996 and have been a tutor occasionally throughout that time.
All of my GCSE tutees have been pleased with their progress and results. My A level tutees have achieved the grades for their first or second choice universities. I have even helped two parents of tutees with the maths bit of their job applications (both of them successful with their applications).
My degree is in Philosophy and I hold a Post Graduate Certificate of Education in Secondary Mathematics.
