I am Lucas, a 21 year old Masters student at Imperial College London, taking genetics. I graduated from the University of East Anglia with a upper second class Bsc in Biological Sciences in 2017. I have experience with teaching, and specifically tutoring having done it in the past and am willing to teach from GCSE all the way up to undergraduate level. I tend to have focused, highly structured lessons, with an emphasis on exam preparation and technique, as this is what ultimately passes exams. I also have a genuine interest in the subject, so any of topic questions can be discussed in depth as well.
I have been giving lessons for around three years, having done it throughout my undergraduate years. I have taught around 15 students who all went on to better their grades, with some of them even achieving A*s when predicted C grades.
A personable and hardworking individual who is able to work under pressure as part of a team and multi task. I feel I would work perfectly in any professional environment as I have confidence and enthusiasm and find joy in interacting with the public. The ability to adapt to any given environment or situation is a skill I pride myself on.
