My teaching method provides a safe and confidence-boosting environment that equips students with the skills and attitude needed to achieve. I can give lessons in a variety of subjects at both GCSE and A-level. Homework style tasks can be provided to assess progress and to improve the self-belief of the student.
I am currently a student at the University of Leeds, I have mentored and tutored whilst I was in sixth-form to GCSE students with pupils improving substantially and gaining confidence. I have run sessions on an individual basis or in small groups both face-to-face or online.

February 2016 to July 2019- 3 hours per week voluntary work in Oxfam shop which includes: working on the till and helping customers, Two weeks at Springfield Primary School in May 2017 which included tasks such as writing groups, reading with individuals, designing and constructing classroom displays.
June 2019 to September 2019 – Customer assistant in Marks & Spencer’s which included till work, delivery work, helping customers and stocking rails.

Manchester United Football, Club Season ticket holder since 2009, been attending since 2005.
Flute player- achieved Grade 5 with merit and Grade 5 theory. Active member of the school Wind Band between 2012 and 2019 and have performed in many concerts representing the school; and as of September 2018 became a band manager with other sixth form members and gained responsibilities such as working in small groups with younger musicians and organising music in concerts.
Member of climbing club between 2012 and 2019 and have achieved a climber of the year award and two outstanding contributions to the climbing community awards.
Achieved 2 service to the community awards at the school’s annual celebration and awards evenings.
Support – September 2017 to July 2018 - participated a Collaborative Learning in Partnership (CLIP) programme supporting a year 6 child in her academic and social development and confidence.
Communication – achieved The Duke of Edinburgh Bronze, Silver and Gold awards. Effective team player on expeditions with regards to decision making and supporting and motivating other members of the team.
Leadership – House Captain 2017/18. Organised house competitions such as the CSI, Who’s done it? Competition which involved creating riddles and c as part of the wider house community as well as working independently in preparation for delivering assemblies. I have also been incredibly organised in balancing this with academic work.
Team-player and independent working – working at Oxfam Sale has presented me with opportunities – this includes working on the tills with customer interaction, doing some banking, stock takes and as of January 2019 – working in a supervisor role with younger volunteers. I have also worked as part of a shop team being an Oxfam representative at “Kendal Calling” music festival 2019 and had a successful application to work Leeds and Kendal Calling summer 2020 until they were cancelled.
