She provided preparation work to support really effective face-to-face courses which included conversation practice around topics I chose. Carol is a highly professional language teacher who loves her job and shows infinite patience and flexibility. German Tuition with Great Results - taught by Half German/Half British Qualified Tutor Carol

Methodology

I provide online tuition via Zoom so that you can improve your language skills from a time and place that suits your schedule. I also teach face-to-face in West London and Central London, subject to lockdown restrictions. My German lessons are interactive and include plenty of speaking practice. I aim to make the tuition relaxed, personalised and fun, whether you are learning German for academic studies, travel or pleasure.

Guten Tag! Have you always wanted to learn German? Do you already have a passion for languages? I specialise in teaching adults and seniors who want to learn a new language or who want to take their knowledge to the next level. I help students to improve both their spoken and written fluency in German, focussing on cultural and lifestyle topics of interest and current affairs. My aim is to make lessons inspiring, interesting and enjoyable, so that students can experience the joy of learning German, as they gain a useful skill.

I am half German and I hold degrees in German and Italian (BA Hons) and in Translation Studies (MA with Distinction). I have lived in Germany and I have had a career using languages (German, Italian and English) for several decades.
I hold a language-teaching Diploma Level 5 from i-to-i TEFL and I have had several years of experience teaching languages, both One-to-One and in small groups.

Transportation Fee : £15

Rate for online lessons : £11/h

Rate for 5 hours of lessons : £11

Rate for 10 hours of lessons : £10

Details

Cancellation Policy
- No charge for a class cancelled by the student over 24 hours in advance of the scheduled lesson.
- 100 % charge for a class cancelled by the student within 24 hours of the scheduled start time of the lesson.
- In the event of a cancellation by the tutor within 24 hours of the lesson's scheduled start time a free lesson will be offered by the tutor for the subsequent lesson taught.

A travel cost of £15 per lesson applies with the West London / Central London areas

Carol is a very prepared teacher but first of all she is a very good person very kind and helpful, she believes in what she does and puts a lot of effort into her work. I am sure that the students will get along very well with her and will pleasantly learn german language.
