My teaching method for languages is strongly based on the importance of a conversational approach and getting familiar with the new language. I try to include writing, reading and pronouncing every time I do an exercise for the student to learn the associations and improve simultaneously on all areas, and then go more in depth on the area where the student wants to focus. When the lesson is focused on exam preparation (for French levels for instance) I base my teaching on analysing practice exercises with the student, combining help and thorough explanations for the student and later a more impartial position where I provide feedback. Having taught in different settings and levels I am very patient and perfectionist in my approach.
I am an engineer now but I have been tutoring as part time job since I was in high school. I really enjoy teaching and have the experience of teaching from groups to individually, and from primary to university level. I have taught a range of subjects from Maths to languages, focusing on general follow up on school work, exam preparation or just improvement for the student's personal development. For the last three years I have been working regularly with the same family, helping the children with their school work and exam preparation for French diplomas.
