Hobbies & Interests

Music is my main form of relaxation and I have attained grade 8 in both piano and flute and grade 5 in singing, and perform annually with my school's orchestra in the Birmingham Symphony Hall. For the past six years I have been a member of the school hockey team, and have represented the West Midlands on several occasions. Last year I took part in the National Citizen Service for three weeks, where the second week involved daily visits to a care home for adults with Autism. I spent time interacting with, and understanding more about the communication difficulties of the residents. Upon being touched by their stories, in the third week, I was the team director of our campaign to raise awareness about mental health disorders.
