I am a sixth form student studying Music AS level. I currently play piano to a Trinity Grade 8 standard. I also play the organ and sing in a cathedral choir so I have extensive knowledge of musical theory. I am only looking to teach beginners or pupils of an intermediate level. I'm willing to teach for a pupil that just wants to have fun or a pupil who wants to do graded exams.
I have only taught two pupils
this year as I am a beginner at teaching. However, my methods and the books I use seem to be effective as both pupils have advanced quickly and although neither have done any grades, they have expressed an interest in taking graded exams.
Piano is my main instrument and I have 10+ years of experience playing in concerts and events.I have obtained a distinction in Grade 8 piano and have done the Silver Award in the RSCM singing exams. I am currently studying the organ and looking to study as an organ scholar at a university or study organ at a music conservatoire. I have a qualification a in A level music thus my musical theory is very extensive.
