My teaching method is simple and efficient; active recall and spaced repetition are key.
Concise flash cards/summaries and lots of practice questions massively out perform highlighting/note taking as revision techniques. Interrupt the forgetting curve with spaced repetition and by actively recalling the information, using these techniques, and exam results will rocket.
There is no need for hours of revision.
I achieved seven grade 9s at GCSE; I feel school’s attitudes towards exams are massively incorrect. There is a great deal schools don’t realise about effective exam tricks and efficient revision, backed by evidence.
