Grade 8+ university student on clarinet, saxophone and piano, offering clarinet lessons in London.
Methodology
I am willing to give lessons to anyone from beginner to grade 5 level. For beginners, it's important to build up the right technique from the start, but also to make sure their love of the instrument is nurtured - my lessons will always be fun, without hindering progress! Having been through all the grades myself, whether they wish to take grades or not, I will help select repertoire they will enjoy whatever their standard. We will have a warm-up every lesson which will vary then play and practise some pieces and even play duets occasionally.
Experience
I am an Economics university student studying at the LSE, and have been playing clarinet for the last 12 years now. I obtained a distinction in my grade 8, along with grade 8s in piano and saxophone. I used to help teach clarinet and saxophone to younger years at school, so for the last two years, and conducted various orchestras as a music scholar. I have also been part of national orchestras, and really just want to start teaching properly now! I can also help with music theory up to grade 5, if required.

I have delivered both musical and academic tutoring in a school environment, and would like to continue to do so, imparting all that I have learnt over the years. I am very keen to be creative with my teaching methods to make lessons as enjoyable as possible, as this has been crucial to my own musical development.
