I am a Grade 8 Violinist with Orchestral and solo performance experience. I teach beginners how to play the violin and can also teach music theory.
My lessons will be fun and interesting, delivered in a friendly manner, but I will stress the importance of practicing if the student wants to improve. I hope every student enjoys the lessons but also feels challenged enough to progress. I can provide sheet music.
I can adapt my lessons to the individuals learning styles and am aware that not everyone learns in the same way; I also have experience of teaching pupils with learning difficulties in other subjects.
I have been playing the Violin for 15 years, achieving Grade 8 with the Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music seven years ago and have played in the Royal Albert Hall. I currently work in an Orthopedic hospital as an Orthotist but teach the Violin and Music Theory in the evenings. I teach beginners of all age and hope to make students realise how much they enjoy playing.
Can teach siblings in a group for £30 per hour.
May ask for travel costs if lessons require me to travel for over an hour from my home address.
