My teaching method is always tailored to my specific students, along with what they would like to achieve. If you would like help when it comes to polishing up essay writing, we can spend time going through your essays, likewise if you are looking for general help with the subject we can structure the sessions in more of a 'lesson' type approach with a specific topic, discussion, and then something for you to work on for the next time, whatever suits you.
I graduated from the University of Bristol last year, having read English Literature. I have tutored for the last three years, and can help with anything from GCSEs through to Dissertation submissions. I am also more than happy to come to you, or to meet you online to work together to achieve your goals.
My rates may change depending on travel costs, but this will always be discussed and approved by you.
Additionally, should you wish to cancel a session please give me at least 6 hours notice otherwise you may still be charged for the session.

- English and History Tutor, November 2014 - November 2016.
During my studies I tutored english at various levels and abilities. I worked with students from the ages of 7 upwards, and students that had additional needs. I am therefore proficient in many different styles of teaching, as well as the subject itself, and thoroughly enjoy aiding students to reach the next levels of their learning.
I’ve known Hope in both the professional and personal world for years and I cannot recommend her enough! She is intelligent, attentive, hard working and very easy to talk to. I think Hope is perfect for this position.
Hope helped my son to get an A* equivalent in his GCSE. He had no confidence in his ability, and with Hope’s help he was able to remain calm under the pressure of the exam and I cannot thank her - or recommend her - enough. Choose Hope as your tutor!!
I was lucky enough to work alongside Hope for a number of years on different projects, including long term theatrical ventures, and in every instance it was a pleasure to be with someone so competent, organised, reliable and trustworthy. I cannot recommend her enough as a colleague, teacher and tutor.
