About Joe
Having been a practising artist for a better part of a decade I have been interested in looking at ways I can transfer those skills to a new generation of budding artists. Specialising in oil painting and bookbinding through my publishing company churn_press, I also collaborate alongside other artists putting on art workshops for young people and adults alike, through 'plumbum club' teaching everything from still life, book making and sculpting.

Classes can last anywhere between one-two hours per session, although can be extended. Minimum 2 hour. Over the years I've held a number of art events from organising community murals, curating exhibitions, class workshops and given guidance marketing work. These classes would be better suited to those at GCSE / A-level focusing on teaching basic techniques, methods and mediums, alongside understanding composition, values and tones. This can be tailored to courses on abstraction or still life / portraiture.
