Engaging adult learners in reading Spanish literature books, children books, listening to tutor and repeating Spanish words after tutor. Playing games in Spanish. Using what you learn and applying it to real life situations like going to the doctor at Mexico and feeling comfortable in conversing with your doctor on your office visit. A typical lesson plan is going over verbs, pronouns and repeating them on a daily basis and building up in writing sentences and paragraphs. I like to create an exciting atmosphere where student can ask questions and get feedback on their Spanish speaking skills. Lessons can be modified to tailor the needs of adult learner whether they are basic Spanish speakers, degreed or non degreed.
