Methodology
I tutor the students in their homes and base the lessons on topics that they request and are having difficulty with. My method of working is to observe the student working through a problem and identify where they struggle or lose their way. This then becomes the focus of the lesson so that they understand what is the best way to approach the problem to complete it successfully.
Experience
I have a BSc degree in Maths and Physics. I worked as a Software Test Consultant and I am now retired. I have five adult children, two boys and three girls, whom I helped with their studies when they were at school.
They have all attended university successfully, the youngest now in her final year.
Previously, between work contracts, I tutored four students in GCSE Maths at their homes for a few weeks on topics that they wanted help with.
