After one year of teaching in France I have realized that the best lesson structure should be worked out with the pupil beforehand, taking into consideration both his capacities and passions. Lessons will be divided into oral and written comprehension as well as a questions and remarks section through the end of the lesson in order for the pupil to understand his mistakes and improve his French skills.
I have one year of experience of teaching English in France at GSCE and A levels. In 9 months I've had the opportunity to teach and connect with over 700 pupils ranging from 15 years old to 22 years old. My lessons were varied, treating all kind of topics so that the interest of the pupil is kept all along the lecture. The students have progressed impressively at the end of the year in English and I have no doubt my methodology will work with French for UK students as well.
