I explain concepts thoroughly giving the student various examples, but also examples from the real world for them to truly understand where such concepts can be applied. I never move forward until the student can basically teach me the concept themselves. I like to let the student visualize certain concepts with diagrams.
I am a Robotics Graduate who studied at the University of the West of England. I have been giving lessons to fellow peers for the last 4 years. I have also homeschooled my sister through KS3 and GCSE in Maths, Biology, and Physics. I also love programming and love to teach it.

Individual Project 2018-2019
The development of a vision-based autonomous quadruped spider. This project involved the design and simulation of a vision-based autonomous quadruped spider with a ROS backbone. It was in co-operation with Reach Robotics which supplied the Mekamon gaming robot with a ROS smart module. Simulation software used included Gazebo and Mujoco. The main focus was developing different walking gaits depending on different terrains using re-enforcement learning algorithms such as TRPO and DQN. The secondary part of the project entailed terrain recognition and route planning. Majority of the programming was done in Python, however small portions within the ROS network required C++. Linux was used extensively during this project. With regards to machine vision techniques used: a basic terrain classifier was developed using tensorflow and depth reconstruction from 2D images was used for environment analysis.

The development of a maze solving robot
I Overhauled the PCB design and production. As well as PID tuning, map solving algorithms and sensor calibrations. I undertook all software design from mapping algorithms, to integration of motors, sensors and the PID controller. I also shared responsibility in the sensor PCB design and calibration. This project brought together all the concepts I consider Robotics to entail, from electronics to programming to calibration of sensors and PID controllers. The biggest learning curves was learning how to work with micro-controllers and understanding data-sheet specifications. As well as understanding the difficulties in designing real-time systems. All programming was done using C in MPLABx and Visual Studio.

Line Following Robot
The development of a basic Line Following Robot
This group project involved the construction of a mobile robot implementing a line following algorithm using different external sensors to perform its line following and goal search objectives. I overhauled all software and hardware integration. Using IR and sonic sensors for measurements of the environment. I also used encoder feedback for velocity control of the motors. Learning curves included tuning the speed controller as well as the sensor calibrations.
