I will firstly assess weaker areas and try to work with the pupil to increase the confidence in these, using a range of methods to do this, depending on what suits the needs of the individual. Exam prep would likely involve going through popular questions step-by-step.
I graduated in 2019 with a 2:1 BSc in a chemistry from a Russell group university and therefore have a wide knowledge and passion for the subject. I can tutor online or in person (abiding with social distancing guidelines). I have previous experience with non-professional tutoring and have mentored students on a pastoral basis. I am confident with children and have a good knowledge of the curriculum.
I can teach up to A-level in Chemistry and Core Maths as well as KS3 Maths and Science (including Physics and Biology.) I will firstly identify less confident areas and then work from there. I am available evenings from 6pm-8pm and weekends
Emma is my coursemate from university. She was always very good at explaining concepts that I didn’t understand. She is kind and patient, and very knowledgable in her field. I would recommend Emma as a tutor to anyone.
Emma is a kind and likeable person. She will sit and listen to individuals she is working with.
Emma enjoys seeing others succeed and will be the most excellent person to help with your tutoring needs.
Emma is a kind and conscientious tutor with a large amount of knowledge. She has helped me understand many concepts during my time at university, being particularly helpful in my final year.
