I have worked in an educational setting on and off in my career. The employment I had in between those roles were roles where I was helping others. so I feel I am well suited to teaching as I enjoy it and have a fun way of keeping students engaged

I start from topics the students are comfortable with and move gradually towards more complex areas as their confidence builds. I use questions and examples to check understanding continually. I don't lecture to students or ask them to memorise things. Nor do I do the students' homework for them!
