I am a bright and friendly 22-year-old graphics and illustration student. I offer lessons for primary and secondary level, in all disciplines of art and design. My techniques and methods of instruction focus on identifying the students enthusiasms in order to guide them into producing work with energy and excitement.
I am a graphic design and illustration student. I have a distinction in Art and Design foundation diploma from Oxford Brooke's University and was an art scholar at secondary school. I have been teaching in art clubs at primary and secondary level since 2014 and assist in printmaking courses for all ages.

I am a lively and creative individual, and approach my work with energy and tenacity. Experience of working with children and art has demonstrated to me the importance of education and the power of creativity and led to my ambition of becoming an art teacher. Qualities in organisation and leadership make me well suited to a role in education.

Volunteering with the running of workshops in ceramics, textiles, drawing and collage for 7-8-year- olds, as part of the 5×5×5=creativity initiative which aims to encourage learning through creativity.
Bristol Refugee Rights:
In collaboration with Bristol Refugee Rights I made an animation which was chosen to be part of a film screening at the MShed cinema in Bristol. I helped to organise the event, which involved the
coordination of a team of graphic designers, charity workers and refugees from BRR. I then was on a Q&A panel at the screening.
As part of a team from Bath Spa University I helped design an interactive display in collaboration with Aardman Animations, featuring the character ‘Morph’. This involved giving a presentation outlining our designs to Peter Lord, the creator of Morph.

but relied heavily on my initiative in order to work efficiently and independantly.
The Wimbledon Championships:
Working as a waitress and food preparation assistant proved my abilities in coping under
pressure in this demanding and fast paced role. My leadership and communication skills were also demonstrated within the team environment.
Jericho Cafe, Oxford:
Working as a waitress and barista whilst also serving at the till and assisting in food preparation.
Award: ‘Consistent enthusiasm and high-quality work’:
End of first year degree course award. This was one in four awards in a year group of 80 based on performance and attitude towards work throughout the year.
For an independent business proposal I was awarded both a monetary grant and free access to an online course called ‘The Business of Creativity’ by Creative Women International. This course has developed my knowledge and skills in business and given me confidence in my communication and strategy within the creative industry.
This was awarded in Sixth form based on ongoing performance and a portfolio of work. In being awarded this, I stood as an ambassador of art for the school. This involved helping with exhibitions, art dinners, and hosting private views. I now return to the school to speak to current students about their future in art and design.
I enjoy outdoor activities including hiking, river swimming and cycle touring. I cycled across the Rhodope mountain range in Bulgaria in summer 2017, carrying camping equipment and food. I am currently teaching myself to play the piano and learning to cook Middle Eastern recipes.
