I believe in identifying what type of learner you're i.e. I'm an auditory learner so I study for my classes focusing on listening to myself and others explain the content (videos or podcasts )so I can process it faster. I do this by doing a range of study methods the first 2 weeks of teaching and getting feedback from the student as to which method they like better and how we can work our lessons to something that suits their learning process. I also believe the key to understanding the content being taught, is to make it memorable and easy to understand. By doing fun analogies or making stories around the content can make learning easier. Examinations is a must while learning, 2 tests per week while it may seem stressful, I believe the aim isn't to make the student panic but to see their strengths and weaknesses and work around that to give a full rounded learning experience as dealing with exam stress is a big factor in educational performance.
I'm a law LLB Hons at University of Manchester (1st year).
I have completed my A-level's recencently, acquiring A*AAA in Law, Sociology, Psychology and Spanish. Furthermore I did my GCSEs under the newly reformed 9-1 system, where out my 11GCSEs; 5 of which were 9/8/7 (old A/A*), English being included within these.
As non native English speaker myself, I was familiar to the struggle students go through in education when they facing language barriers in school. Being passionate about this, I become involved in tutoring non native native English speaker in my high school in Year 10-11, teaching maths and English so they could be on par to the other students.

Maths and English tutor – Levenshulme High School
September 2017 – June 2018
While being a student in High school myself, in my spare time for immigrant children with none/basic English and maths level.
I gained better organisation skills which were suited to my busy schedule at High school, as I had to plan my own studies for my upcoming GCSE’s, my volunteer work at Oxfam and tutoring time in a way that was effective for everyone.
Patience was key in this role, as communication was a big barrier during my time as a tutor due to the students having a very limited English vocabulary. Therefore, I had to be patient as to getting my points across as well as understanding what they said.
