- Tell me about your qualifications.

I hold a BA (Hons) in English and Theatre Studies with French from the University of Warwick (class 2:1) 2004-2007

Prior to this I achieved 4 A-levels in English Literature (A), French (A), Drama and Theatre Studies (A) and Music (A). I have 10 A*-A grades at GCSE level (with high A*'s in English Literature, Language and Maths) as well as the AQA Advanced Extension Award in English in which I achieved a Merit.

For music tuition I passed my Grade 8 Flute (ABRSM) with a high distinction and achieved distinction in all Music Theory examinations. I also hold a BA (hons) in Professional Musical Theatre from Mountview Academy of Theatre Arts (2007 - 2010).

- How much do you charge?

I charge £25.00 per hour (£30.00 for A-level tuition). There may be a £5.00 travel supplement in some cases.

- Where do you teach?

I am happy to teach at wherever is most convenient for you, whether that's at your home or mine or somewhere in between.

- When are you available?

Afternoons, Evenings and Weekends. I am also available during school and public holidays.

- Which ages and levels do you teach?

I teach all ages and abilities up to A-level.

About Greg

- What kind of experience do you have?

I have worked as a Teaching Assistant in mainstream primary and secondary establishments, working closely with students on literacy and numeracy skills. I have also taught 4-16 year olds at top London performing arts schools as well as offering private music and music theory tuition. I am familiar with the most commonly taught exam syllabuses and am confident in ticking off the assessment objectives for every subject I tutor in and every exam I help prepare for. I have worked as a freelance tutor since graduating from Warwick University in 2007 which is currently ranked 3rd place in the Guardian University League Table 2011.

- Do you have an up-to-date DBS (Disclosure & Barring Service, formerly CRB) Certificate?

Yes, I have a full up-to-date CRB disclosure certificate which I endeavour to carry with me to all tutoring sessions.

- Tell me about some of your current students.

I am currently tutoring a GCSE English Student in West London and an A-level English Literature student in South West London who is looking to go on to read English at University. I am also tutoring a student through her AS English Poetry exam and a 9 year old through her 11+ English exam. All are progressing well and have found our sessions highly beneficial.
